Ian Runs Alberta

On July 1, 2016, Ian Aman will be setting out on a historic run across the province of Alberta.

Launching at the Alberta/Northwest Territories border, the run will cover a distance of 1,600 kilometers and will span over 62 days this summer.

The goal of the run is to inspire Albertans to live at their highest potential and to demonstrate the power you can have to achieve your dreams. In these tough economic times, a focus on wellness is even more critical, which is why funds raised will be donated to support mental health in Alberta and those struggling to find their voice. Through this historic endurance feat Ian hopes to inspire the entire province.

Ian was born and raised in Alberta and carries a passionate message that challenges people to define their own limits, to believe in what’s possible and to live a life that resonates the best possible version of themselves. By pushing the limits and embracing the resilience and heart of what Albertans stand for, Ian plans to tell his story across the province not only through his actions, but by engaging with the numerous communities along the way.

The Mental Rescue Society supports Ian Aman’s run across Alberta as an innovative approach to building greater awareness about mental health in Alberta. Mental Rescue has committed to partner with Ian Aman to provide information and resources to support greater education and awareness of mental health. We encourage you to add your support to this journey.
